After experiencing this crap with Smash Brothers, I tried to talk myself out of buy Mario Kart, but couldn't resist. Sure enough, all the same problems are still there... It all comes back to you original point about Nintendo screwing over the "hardcore" gamers. They're way too concerned with protecting the kiddies. Gamertags? But I like the stability on the online races, because we can play it and our races go very smoothly, and that's a good point.
